On participation of Russian Embassy diplomats In Himalayan Roerich Estate Events
On April 30 - May 1, the diplomatic staff of the Russian Embassy in India visited the Memorial Estate of the Roerichs in the Himalayan Kullu Valley (Himachal Pradesh) and took part in the Festival dedicated to the 140th Birth Anniversary of Helena Roerich. They met with representatives of local authorities as well as the Roerich Estate Museum Complex curators and volunteers.

Leo Tolstoy and Mahatma Gandhi: Ideas Still Alive
On April 11-12, St. Stephen’s College affiliated to the University of Delhi (DU) hosted the seminar titled Leo Tolstoy: Philosophical Horizons organized with the support of the Russian Embassy in India. Among the honoured guests of the event to commemorate the 190th anniversary of the great Russian writer, were Mr A.Annamalai, Director of the National Gandhi Museum, Prof. Ramesh C. Bhardwaj, Director of the Gandhi Bhawan (DU), Prof. Rajeev Gupta, DU Dean (Students’ Welfare), Prof. John Varghese, St. Stephen’s College Principal, Dr Neelakshi Suryanarayan, Head of the Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Studies (DU), Mr Anatoly Kargapolov, Minister-Counsellor of the Russian diplomatic mission and other representatives of the Embassy and Rossotrudnichestvo as well as scholars from Russia.

India and Russia are making the multipolar world stronger: Russian Ambassador to India
The Indo-Russian cooperation that is built in mutual trust and enriching each other is a living formula for the rest of the world, said Russia’s Ambassador in New Delhi, Nikolay R. Kudashev. In an interview with The Hindu, Mr. Kudashev spoke of a host of issues such as bilateral defence and economic cooperation, the growing U.S.-Russian tensions the echo the Cold War, the Pakistan factor in Indo-Russian ties and the need for launching new connectivity projects between the two countries.

On the Visit of Russian Ambassador to India H.E. Mr Nikolay Kudashev to Tamil Nadu
On January 22-25, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India H.E. Mr Nikolay R. Kudashev visited the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. During his trip, the head of the Russian diplomatic mission met with Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami, and took part in the investment forum “Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet – 2019”. Ambassador also met the staff of the Consulate General of Russia in Chennai, as well as compatriots living in the south of the country.<br />
