Russian Embassy diplomats participated in Himalayan Roerich Estate events
On October 9, the diplomatic staff of the Russian Embassy in India visited the Memorial Estate of the Roerichs in Naggar in the Himalayan Kullu Valley (Himachal Pradesh) and took part in the Festival dedicated to the 145th Birth Anniversary of a great Russian artist, philosopher, thinker and public figure Nicholas Roerich and the 115th Birth Anniversary of his son Svetoslav Roerich, also a renowned artist and the founder of the International Roerich Memorial Trust (IRMT).

Day of Russia in New Delhi 2019
On June 12, Russian Embassy in New Delhi hosted a solemn function on the occasion of the Day of Russia. The festive event was attended by more than 700 guests, including Indian MEA representatives and officials from other ministries, 65 heads and senior staff of diplomatic missions in New Delhi, military attaches, prominent Indian political and public figures, representatives of the scientific and cultural elite, businessmen, political scientists, journalists, staff members of Russian organizations and Russian compatriots living in India. Foreign Secretary V.K. Gokhale attended the function as a Chief Guest from the Indian side and Governor of Manipur Najma Heptulla was the Guest of Honor.
