On the press briefing dedicated to XX Russian-Indian summit at the Embassy
On August 28, Russian Embassy in India hosted a press briefing on the 20th anniversary of the Russian-Indian annual summit and 5th Eastern Economic Forum on September 4-6 in Vladivostok. The event saw the presence of about 70 representatives of leading Indian print and digital media.<br />
While delivering a keynote address, Ambassador Nikolay Kudashev noted that the upcoming summit between the leaders of our countries is an extraordinary event, which will open a new chapter in multifaceted Russian-Indian cooperation, expanding the potential of Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between Russia and India by involving the Far Eastern dimension of cooperation.<br />
DCM Roman Babushkin spoke in detail about the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation emphasizing the priority areas of contacts between Moscow and New Delhi at the international arena as well.<br />
Russian Trade Representative in India Yaroslav Tarasyuk emphasized the possibilities of expanding economic ties between the two countries and highlighted the potential of the Eastern Economic Forum to boost trade and investment.<br />
