International Museum Expo 2023 held in New Delhi
In conjunction with the International Museum Day, the International Museum Expo took place on May 18-20, 2023 in New Delhi. The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
Along with the state and private museums of India, the Russian museums were also present at the Expo.
The Russian booth featured participation of the Mikhail Sholokhov State Museum-Reserve, the State Memorial and Natural Preserve Museum-Estate of Leo Tolstoy "Yasnaya Polyana", and the All-Russian Alexander Pushkin Museum.
Visitors to the Museum Expo 2023 had also the opportunity to explore exhibitions of the Vladimir Dahl State Museum of the History of Russian Literature (State Literary Museum) and the Lermontov State Museum-Reserve "Tarkhany."
