Days of Moscow in New Delhi

V SCO and BRICS Regions Forum on Small Business
On September 26-27, 2019, the city of Ufa in the Bashkortostan Republic (Russia) will host the V SCO and BRICS Regions Forum on Small Business.<br />
The Forum on Small Business of the SCO and BRICS Regions has been held annually in Bashkortostan from 2015 with the support from President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. It took place for the first time within the framework of the VII BRICS Summit and the simultaneous SCO Summit on July 8 9, 2015.<br />

Day of Russia in New Delhi 2019
On June 12, Russian Embassy in New Delhi hosted a solemn function on the occasion of the Day of Russia. The festive event was attended by more than 700 guests, including Indian MEA representatives and officials from other ministries, 65 heads and senior staff of diplomatic missions in New Delhi, military attaches, prominent Indian political and public figures, representatives of the scientific and cultural elite, businessmen, political scientists, journalists, staff members of Russian organizations and Russian compatriots living in India. Foreign Secretary V.K. Gokhale attended the function as a Chief Guest from the Indian side and Governor of Manipur Najma Heptulla was the Guest of Honor.

On January 22-25, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India H.E. Mr Nikolay R. Kudashev visited the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. During his trip, the head of the Russian diplomatic mission met with Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami, and took part in the investment forum “Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet – 2019”. Ambassador also met the staff of the Consulate General of Russia in Chennai, as well as compatriots living in the south of the country.<br />

A ceremonial function dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Regular Air Services between Moscow and New Delhi took place on August 17 in New Delhi. Social and political figures, businesspersons, tour operators, airport officials, journalists, diplomats from foreign embassies, members of Russian organizations and diplomats took part in the festive ceremony, organized by the Representative of Aeroflot Russian Airlines with the support from the Embassy of Russia in India.
