Russian Ambassador to India H.E. Mr Nikolay Kudashev visited Bangalore
Ambassador Kudashev became a part of a representative Russian delegation at the air show led by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr Denis V. Manturov, took part in his talks with Minister of Commerce, Industry and Civil Aviation of India Shri Suresh Prabhu and Minister of Defense of India Smt Nirmala Sitharaman, during which they discussed topical issues of Russian-Indian cooperation.
During the talks with Chief Minister of Karnataka H.D. Kumaraswamy the Ambassador reaffirmed the policy of further strengthening Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between Russia and India, stressed the importance of expanding bilateral interaction at the interregional level, including the use of state achievements, the unique experience of developing startups (11,000) and a developed business infrastructure, as well as boosting Karnataka's sister city relations with the regions of Russia. The issue of Russian-Indian joint film production and broader participation of Russian films in state-run film festivals were raised.
During the meeting with Director General of ISRO Dr K.Sivan various aspects of cooperation in the field of manned space flights, engine building and the improvement of the legal framework for bilateral cooperation in the space field were discussed.
The head of the Russian diplomatic mission in India also visited the Tataguni estate, where Svetoslav Roerich and Devika Rani lived, saw the house-museum, the studio and the laboratory for obtaining essential oil, and also observed the landscape works under construction a new museum complex.
The visit of the head of the Russian diplomatic mission was covered by the Indian and Russian media and contributed to the strengthening of bilateral ties.
