Leo Tolstoy and Mahatma Gandhi: Ideas Still Alive Today

On November 21-22, the University of Delhi (DU) hosted the International Conference "Tolstoy-Gandhi: A Philosophical Journey" organized by the Gandhi Bhawan (DU) with the support of the Russian Embassy in India.

The event featured presentations by Russian, Indian and Polish researchers on the correspondence of Leo Tolstoy and Mahatma Gandhi. The Director of the Yasnaya Polyana Museum-Estate Ekaterina Tolstaya, the Museum’s Senior Researcher Galina Alekseeva, the great-great-great-grandson of the great writer, Andrey Tolstoy, and Yogesh K. Tyagi, DU Vice Chancellor addressed the audience. affairs.
