On November 24, 2020 a videoconference with Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, Mr Surendra K. Ahirwar was held.
Trade Commissioner Mr Alexander L. Rybas participated in the event.
The exchange of views on the main aspects of Russian-Indian trade cooperation in the context of measures taken by both countries to overcome social and economic consequences of crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has taken place. The prospects of expansion of the trade turnover up to USD 30 billion by the year of 2025, as well as the course of negotiations on conclusion of Free Trade Agreement between Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of India have been discussed.
